1967 Shelby GT500

Ground up restored in 1997 this 67 GT500 is one of the most desirable Shelby's.

Dark Moss Green, Black interior, 428 with dual quads, 4 spd toploader transmission, 9 inch rear end.

The first shot in this series is what a 26,000 Shelby looks like after it is riden hard and put away for 12 years.  This picture was taken in 1986 when I purchased this car.  It had been stored for 12 years without moving just before I acquired it.  In its earlier life it aquired very few miles as it saw drag racing action with a owner installed 427.  It was told to me that the car was a mid 10 second car.

I completely disassembled the car to the bare frame and gave it a proper restoration.  I have restored serveral 67 shelby's and this one turned out exceptional.
